Reflection on the Last Sunday of 2020

Today is the 52nd Sunday of the year 2020. And we do have exactly four days to go before the end of this year. We are still hoping that some light will show at the end of the tunnel, and looking forward to a brighter and healthier new year.

2020 had been a difficult year for everybody due to the global pandemic. Almost countries around the globe swept by the deadly Covid-19, affecting millions of people. And it’s not yet done. It continuously affecting more and more people as we are getting near at the end of the year.

However, despite of the challenges this year gave us, there are still more to be thankful for. If you are still breathing right now and you are with your family or loved ones, you are one of the luckiest person on earth. And I am one of it. Being covid-free and still alive with my family and loved ones being healthy, it’s enough and I am such the luckiest.

If there is one thing 2020 taught me, it’s how to appreciate life more than ever. And never ever take life for granted because in a blink of an eye, everything can change. Everyday is an opportunity. Waking up in the morning is a precious gift. Cherish every single moment that we spend with our loved ones and make each day a meaningful one in some ways. Appreciate the gift of life and its privileges. Because to be alive today is a miracle.
